This study aims to describe democratic parenting styles, examine parents’ roles in early childhood character formation, and identify supporting and inhibiting factors at PAUD Nursaadah 1, Lebak, Banten. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method involving parents, teachers, and Group B children. Data were collected through observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation from April to July 2026 and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings show that most parents applied democratic parenting through attention, affection, rules, communication, and guidance. Children demonstrated developing discipline, self-confidence, and social skills. Supporting factors included family harmony, parental involvement, communication, and school cooperation, while barriers included parental work demands, limited interaction time, and insufficient parenting knowledge. The study highlights democratic parenting as important for strengthening early childhood character development.
